Refund Policy

All ticket purchases for events and tours at Cresson Sanatorium & Prison are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled date, we are happy to:

  • Provide a credit toward a future ticket, or

  • Assist with rescheduling your visit, subject to availability

Ticket credits are valid for 12 months from the original event date.

Extenuating Circumstances

Refunds are considered only in rare, extenuating circumstances and are not guaranteed.

Ticket Transfers

Tickets may be transferred to another person with advance notice.

To request a transfer, please email us (info@cressonsanatorium.com) with:

  • The original ticket holder’s name

  • The event date

  • The full name and email address of the person the ticket is being transferred to

Once processed, a new ticket will be issued to the recipient.

Weather & Event Cancellations

Most events at Cresson are rain or shine.

In the event of extreme weather or other conditions that require cancellation by Cresson, tickets will be:

  • Honored for any upcoming event or tour, or

  • Converted to a credit for future use

If an event is cancelled, we will communicate directly with ticket holders via email using the contact information provided at purchase.

No-Shows

Failure to attend a scheduled event or tour without prior communication may result in forfeiture of the ticket. Credits or rescheduling may not be available in the case of no-shows.

Paranormal Investigations & Private Events

Private paranormal investigations and other private bookings require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining 50% due one month prior to the scheduled investigation date.

  • Deposits may be refunded upon request up to 30 days before the scheduled event

  • Deposit refund requests made within 30 days of the event are not guaranteed

  • The remaining balance becomes non-refundable once due, except in rare, extenuating circumstances

If a private event is cancelled by Cresson due to extreme weather or unforeseen conditions, we will work directly with the booking party to reschedule or provide appropriate credit.
