FAQ
Shared Access vs Fully Private Access
The exploration area contains 21 buildings, 13 of which are known for paranormal activity. During shared nights, the 12 buildings are separated into two building groups.
Group A (Buildings 1, F, J, A, I & 4)
Group B (Buildings 3, 5, 6, 7, E, & C)
Teams hold separate investigations within their chosen group of buildings.
During Fully Private nights, the team has access to any of the open buildings. As of Spring 2023, this includes 17 buildings. Please see the map below for building details.
Where do I go when I arrive?
After turning onto Correction Road, you will follow the road to the very end, about half a mile. A parking lot is on the left, and you will be entering and exiting during your investigation through Building 2 directly across from the parking lot.
If your team members need any special accommodations to enter the property, please reach out in advance so that we can assist.
The address for GPS is 251 Correction Road, Cresson PA 16630. If your GPS suggests this location as Lilly, PA, that is also correct and will take you to the right place (our site borders both towns).
How do I check in?
Your team will meet with a Big House Produce team member to sign waivers, review safety guidelines, and provide printed maps.
This team member will also explain check out, and answer any questions you may have.
Are there restrooms & electricity?
The site is in fully abandoned condition, but porta potties are on site in two locations. Most teams use building 2 (the visitor's entrance) as their Base Camp, and a generator is available for use for lights and power in this building.
Please let us know if you are interested in using the generator so that we can provide additional details.
Are we allowed to bring food & drinks?
Yes, you may bring food or drinks, though we ask that you remove your trash with you and dispose in our bins inside Building 2. No alcohol is allowed.
